Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Expands Sales Force

SUWANEE, Ga.- April 23, 2008 - To support continued growth, Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division has added three new employees.

"Because of the steady growth we've seen in the past few years, we are continuing to expand the Division to allow us to support the demand for our product while continuing to increase our presence in the industry," says William Rau, senior vice president and general manager, Mitsubishi Electric HVAC. "These new team members possess technical expertise that is integral to providing our customers with the best possible service."

To support CITY MULTI® VRFZ (variable refrigerant flow zoning) systems, Zoran Tasevski joins the sales department as a CITY MULTI area manager in the central zone. Tasevski focuses on selling and promoting CITY MULTI systems in the greater Chicago area, working with specifiers on a daily basis. Before joining Mitsubishi Electric HVAC, Tasevski worked as a sales manager for retail construction for Inland Mechanical, Bensenville, Ill., and received an award for highest gross profit sales in 2006. Tasevski also worked for Trane, Willowbrook, Ill., for eight years as a project engineer and then later as a project manager. He earned a bachelor of science in engineering and applied technology from Trinity College, Chicago, Ill.

Also new to the central zone, Matt Bennett joins Mitsubishi Electric HVAC as a CITY MULTI area manager based in Evansville, Ind. Previously, Bennett worked at Harshaw Trane, Louisville, Ky., for 10 years. As a sales engineer, Bennett's work focused on HVAC equipment and controls. In his new position at Mitsubishi Electric HVAC, Bennett travels throughout the central zone with primary focus on the Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia markets. He is responsible for training distributors and selling and promoting CITY MULTI technology through specifiers and contractors. Bennett earned a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Ind.

With over 25 years in the HVAC industry, John Bart joins Mitsubishi Electric HVAC as a Mr. Slim® application specialist. Bart is in the Division headquarters in Suwanee, Ga., and fields questions from distributors, contractors and the occasional homeowner regarding the Mr. Slim M- and P-Series. In addition to his current duties, Bart is training to become an instructor for the Mr. Slim Fundamentals class, which teaches distributors and salespeople the essentials of the Mr. Slim system. Before joining the department, Bart worked in the sales department at J.R. Hobbs Co., an HVAC installation company specializing in multi-family housing. Bart is a licensed master plumber and also holds a restricted license in heating and air conditioning. He earned his HVAC associate degree from Gwinnett Technical College, Gwinnett, Ga.
