SUWANEE, Ga. - June 11, 2010 - Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating Solutions (Mitsubishi Electric) is pleased to announce the opening of the new central zone office and training center located in Hebron, Ky.

"The opening of this new center further underscores Mitsubishi Electric's commitment to providing contractors, engineers and distributors throughout the country with the best training and sales information possible," says Tony Hayes, senior director, technical support and service, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating Solutions.

The Ohio Training Center (OTC) will officially open on June 14, 2010 with a grand opening celebration. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be attended by prominent Kentucky politicians Senator John Schickel and Judge Executive Gary Moore, and will be followed by an open house.

The central zone office and OTC will feature more than 5,600 square-feet of space. The centerpiece of the facility is a 2,200-square-foot classroom filled with fully operational Mr. Slim® and CITY MULTI® VRF zoning equipment. The center will host installation, service and sales training courses, as well as other product information seminars.

The training center contains various centralized, wired and wireless remote controllers to round out the training. The classroom has a fully integrated audio/visual presentation system to allow for interactive training sessions.

"The extensive training we provide helps contractors improve their skills and effectiveness, as well as their bottom line," says Hayes. "The new OTC also allows us to ensure that end-user customers around the country have access to well-trained contractors, quality products and the best possible service from contractors who are fully equipped and qualified to sell, install and service Mitsubishi Electric products."

Hayes adds that this new corporate training center will make it easier for contractors, engineers and distributors to receive instruction at an easy-to-reach, centralized location.

Located just six minutes from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron, Ky., the sales and training center is a convenient destination for contractors, engineers and distributors who want to participate in training courses or hold and attend sales meetings.
