Moving Up! Senior Management Promotions

SUWANEE, Ga., October 6, 2009 - In support of its continued growth, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating Solutions announces two promotions among its senior management team.

To support demand for our products and increase our presence in the industry, we continue to advance the senior management team," says William Rau, senior vice president and general manager, Mitsubishi Electric.

Allan Dziwoki has been promoted to vice president of business services. In his new role, Dziwoki oversees the Business Services Group for Mitsubishi Electric, specifically focusing on operations, training, information technology and service. Dziwoki has been with the division since 2000. Since then, he has directed several major company-wide initiatives, including a customer relationship management system, an integrated performance management system and a joint strategic planning process with Mitsubishi Electric distributors. He also was responsible for the development of a state-of-the-art consumer lead response system.

Previously, Dziwoki worked as operations manager at Giben International, Atlanta, Ga., an Italian manufacturer of automated, heavy panel-sizing machinery. After graduating from George Mason University, Fairfax, Va., with a bachelor of science in electrical and computer engineering, Dziwoki fulfilled a four-year active duty tour with the U.S. Army in Fort Knox, Ky., during which he served in Operation Desert Storm. Dziwoki also earned a master of science in management from The Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Ga.

Masafumi Ando has been promoted to vice president of business development. In his new role, he is responsible for business direction, especially product market planning and strategy. He also coordinates all relationships with the Japanese office of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, ensuring constant communication with U.S. headquarters.

Ando graduated from Osaka Prefecture University in Japan with a mechanical engineering degree. In 1989, he started working as an information systems analyst in the Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Systems Works division of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Japan. After completing an international management training program in 1995, Ando joined the overseas marketing division where he later advanced from overseas marketing team leader to overseas marketing manager. During this period, he regularly traveled internationally to help expand VRFZ systems business.

In 2005, Ando moved to the London, U.K. office of Mitsubishi Electric Europe as the Pan-European business and marketing planning manager. In 2007, he joined the Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating Solutions as director of business development, where he was responsible for business management, product marketing and information technology.
