Mitsubishi Welcomes New Employees

10, 2007 - Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division,
Suwanee, Ga., has added five new staff members to various
departments over the past few months.
"By adding these new employees, and the experience they bring, we
are strengthening each department within Mitsubishi, providing our
customers with the best possible resources and service and
continuing to maintain our position as the industry leader in
innovation," says William Rau, senior vice president and general
manager, Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division.
Joe Bush brings almost 25 years of application support experience
in the HVAC industry to his new position as CITY MULTI®
application specialist. Prior to joining Mitsubishi, Bush worked as
a private consultant, while also leading product development and
application support for Automatic Data Processing, Inc., Roseland,
N.J. Bush holds an associate's degree in heating, air-conditioning
and refrigeration technology from Ferris State University, Big
Rapids, Mich.
Norman Pennant joins Mitsubishi as a CITY MULTI controls engineer.
Prior to joining Mitsubishi, Pennant worked as an engineer in the
automotive industry, while also serving as a member of the United
States Marine Corps. Pennant holds a bachelor of science degree
from the University of Missouri/Washington University, St. Louis,
Mo.
Steve Jones joins the sales team as central zone area manager,
operating out of Houston, and covering CITY MULTI in Louisiana and
Texas. Jones is responsible for working with distribution branches
and territory managers to train and build the Mitsubishi Diamond
Dealer base in the Central Zone. Prior to joining Mitsubishi, Jones
worked as product sales manager for a national HVAC company located
in Newport News, Va., and also as regional sales manager for Solar
Supply, Lake Charles, La. He attended both West Virginia Wesleyan
College, Buckhannon, W.Va., and McNeese State University, Lake
Charles, La., focusing on business management and economics.
Pedro Carres joins Mitsubishi as southern zone area manager,
overseeing sales of both CITY MULTI and Mr. Slim®
products in the region. Prior to joining Mitsubishi, Carres worked
as Southeast, Mexico and Caribbean regional sales manager for
Fujitsu General America, Inc., Fairfield, N.J., and also as sales
manager for the Latin American Division of Toshiba America Consumer
Products, Inc., New York, N.Y. Carres holds a bachelor of science
degree in electrical engineering from Florida International
University, Miami.
Russ Gallas joins Mitsubishi as area sales manager responsible for
Mr. Slim products in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Gallas
worked as regional sales manager and as a technical service advisor
for a national HVAC company located in St. Louis, Mo. Gallas holds
an associate's degree in air conditioning, heating and
refrigeration from Ranken Technical College, St. Louis, Mo.
