SUWANEE, Ga. - September 17, 2008 - Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division, Suwanee, Ga., has recently promoted Meredith Emmerich to director of application support.
"Due to our Division's continuing growth and product line advancements, we are expanding our team to ensure we can support the demand for our technology and provide our customers with the best application support possible," says Bill Rau, senior vice president and general manager, Mitsubishi Electric HVAC. "With her technical expertise and knowledge of the HVAC industry, Meredith and her team are an asset to our Division and will be instrumental in providing even stronger technical support."
Emmerich currently heads a team of six
engineers and technical specialists who provide product, design and
application support for all Mitsubishi Electric HVAC products and
technology. The team also helps support sales managers and
distributors as they promote Mitsubishi Electric HVAC products and
applications within the technical community.
Emmerich has been with Mitsubishi Electric since 1999. She started
as a product engineer at Mitsubishi Electric Telecommunications
Network Division. In 2002, she moved to the HVAC division as a
sales manager. In 2006, she began working in product development
and became manager of application support in 2007.
Emmerich is a graduate of the Georgia
Institute of Technology, with a bachelor's degree in electrical and
computer engineering and a master's of science in electrical and
computer engineering.
