Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Enhances Extranet
Thursday, June 18, 2009SUWANEE, Ga., June 18, 2009
- Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division has
upgraded its Member Zone Extranet (V2.0) for its Mitsubishi Diamond
Alliance members. The Member Zone Extranet provides Alliance
members with tools and resources that help them organize,
coordinate, communicate and cultivate a successful business.
Through the extranet, members are able to update account
information, view training credits and send changes to their zone
administrators. A material order form has been added to assist
users to quickly order brochures and other sales tools. By logging
in, members have access to electronic versions of the latest sales
and technical documentation and a marketing kit section that
contains downloadable dealer tag formatted files for local
marketing efforts, logo and product image files in various formats.
Members also get access to a personal direct mail portal where
distributors and contractors can create and manage local direct
mail campaigns. This tool has proven to be a successful addition to
the site, and has been downloaded more than 1,000 times since its
launch in April.
"The Member Zone Extranet provides contractors and distributors
with a methodized outlet where organization and communication are
easily accessible. With this new technology, Diamond Alliance
members can foster their growing businesses and serve Mitsubishi
Electric HVAC customers more successfully and efficiently," says
Bud Nardello, vice president of sales, Mitsubishi Electric
HVAC.
Introduced in 2003, Mitsubishi's Diamond Alliance program provides
leading accreditation to distributors, dealers, contractors and
engineers who complete various levels of system and factory
training. Three separate groups make up the Mitsubishi Diamond
Alliance: Diamond Distributors, Diamond Dealers (contractors), and
Diamond Designers (engineers). Each individual group has different
requirements for priority status. Mitsubishi Diamond Dealers™ are
independent contractors that have reached the highest level of
accreditation from Mitsubishi Electric HVAC and offer consumers the
most reliable environmental comfort available with Mitsubishi Mr.
Slim® and CITY MULTI® air-conditioning and heating products.
