Five New Employees Join Mitsubishi Electric HVAC

26, 2007 - Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division,
Suwanee, Ga., has added five new staff members to the training,
service and marketing departments over the past few months. "The
addition of qualified individuals to our growing staff illustrates
our strength and leadership in the industry," says William Rau,
senior vice president and general manager, Mitsubishi Electric HVAC
Advanced Products Division. "Additionally, we feel the experience
these new employees bring to each department is essential in
providing our customers with the best possible resources and
service, which is vital to maintaining our position as the industry
leader in innovation."
Brent Constant joins the training department as service training
manager. In this position, Constant is responsible for designing
and developing service course content, managing service functions
for all Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division
training centers and developing and documenting departmental
processes and procedures. Constant has four years of experience in
the HVAC industry, 13 years of experience in training and
development and 11 years of experience in instructional design and
course development. He holds a bachelor of science degree in
electronics management from Southern Illinois University,
Carbondale, Ill.
Buford Sparks joins Mitsubishi as technical service manager. In his
position, Sparks is responsible for CITY MULTI® and Mr.
Slim® M- and P-Series training, along with overseeing
the Atlanta Technical Service hotline and assisting with CITY MULTI
system startups. Sparks' 28-year career in the HVAC industry
includes positions as president and HVAC division supervisor of
Sparks Services, Inc., Atlanta, Ga., and commercial HVAC service
and sales manager for Martin Mechanical, Athens, Ga.
Joe Opie joins Mitsubishi as technical service advisor, handling
technical assistance calls and supporting contractors on the phone.
He has 33 years of experience working in various positions dealing
with water treatment for boilers/towers, refrigeration, ice
machines and residential and commercial air conditioning. Opie has
received degrees from both Middle Georgia College, Cochran, Ga.,
and Georgia College & State University, Milledgeville,
Ga.
John Healy joins the service team as western area service manager,
operating out of Mitsubishi's new regional office, Irvine, Calif.
With 29 years of experience in the HVAC field, Healy has worked
with numerous local contracting companies, holding positions as a
technician, manager and president. Additionally, Healy has worked
for national HVAC companies in Peachtree City, Ga. and Fort Smith,
Ark. Healy holds a bachelor of arts degree in business management
from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa., as well as numerous
certifications from HVAC technical classes and schools.
Margie Chiaramonte joins the marketing department as marketing
manager. In her new role, Chiaramonte oversees communication and
relationship marketing programs, departmental operations and
project planning, and is the lead for trade channel marketing,
including market research. She also is responsible for Mitsubishi's
communications and public relations programs, as well as trade
shows, meetings and events. Previously, Chiaramonte served as the
marketing manager for Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's
Imaging Products Division, Irvine, Calif. She holds a bachelor of
arts degree in marketing from California State University,
Dominguez Hills, Calif., and a master of business administration
degree in business management from the University of Phoenix,
Phoenix, Ariz.
