The article, titled “Green Products: Revolutionize and Energize Homebuilding Industry,” highlighted the M-Series multi-zone system as an energy saving product that builders can provide their customers with.
SUWANEE, Ga. - May 2011 - The May issue of Architect featured the Mitsubishi Electric Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) as part of an HVAC product focus. The article mentions that the CITY MULTI system preconditions outside air for introduction into downstream HVAC units, thereby lessening the load on the primary HVAC system.

SUWANEE, Ga. - April 2011 - The April 25 issue of ACH&R News featured the WOOD TV8 case study in the article "Ductless System Delivers for TV Station." Mitsubishi Electric VRF systems were installed in this Grand Rapids, Mich. television station to meet the building's unique comfort needs, and their extremely quiet operation allowed for the system to run during tapings, maximizing comfort for the on-air personalities during newscasts.
SUWANEE, Ga. - April 2011 - "Inhabitat" featured a Mitsubishi Electric residential system in its April 19 feature article, "Inside the New Williamsburg Passive House by Loadingdock5," in which a Mitsubishi Electric residential unit was installed in a passive house in the Williamsburg community of Brooklyn.
SUWANEE, Ga. - March 2011 - The March issue of Builder Magazine mentioned the Mitsubishi Electric M-Series in its cover story on the Hudson Passive Project, a home in Claverack, N.Y. that uses 83 percent less energy than the average home. The M-Series was listed as one of the energy-saving solutions for the project.

Mitsubishi Electric’s VRF Installation at the USC Kappa Kappa Gamma House Featured in Indoor Comfort News
SUWANEE, Ga. – March 2011 - The March issue of Indoor Comfort News featured the USC Kappa Kappa Gamma case study in the article “Mitsubishi Saves the Day at USC Kappa Kappa Gamma House.” The article features Mitsubishi Electric’s VRF solution for a failed cooling and heating system in the Kappa house. What was especially impressive is that the installation was completed in the three short months while the student residents of the house were away for summer vacation.
SUWANEE, Ga. – March 2011 - Consulting-Specifying Engineer featured Mitsubishi Electric’s RedLINK controller in the article “Heat Pumps with Wireless HVAC Protocol.” The article is scheduled to run in print in the “New Products” section in an upcoming April or May issue and announces that Mitsubishi Electric P-Series systems will now incorporate Honeywell’s RedLINK wireless protocol.

Mitsubishi Electric’s VRF Installation at Savery Hall Featured in March issue of Commercial Building Products
SUWANEE, Ga. - March 2011 - Commercial Building Products featured the Mitsubishi Electric installation at Savery Hall in the feature story, "Modern Technology Brings Old Building Up To Date." The article highlights Mitsubishi Electric's VRF zoning system as it helped achieve LEED Gold for the renovation of University of Washington's historic Savery Hall.

Mitsubishi Electric’s P-Series Hyper-Heating Heat Pump Featured in the January/February issue of Plant Engineering

ACH&R News Featured the 2011 AHR Expo Innovation Awards Which Included Mitsubishi Electric’s VRF DOAS
SUWANEE, Ga. – January 2011 - The January 17th issue of ACH&R News featured the 2011 AHR Expo Innovation Awards which included Mitsubishi Electric’s VRF DOAS as one of the ten products awarded this year in the cover story, “Ten Receive Innovation Awards.” According to a panel of judges made up of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) members, the 10 winners of the 2011 AHR Expo Innovation Awards represent some of the most innovative new products in the HVACR industry based on innovation, application, value to the user, and market impact. There were a record number of entries this year – up 18 percent from the previous record!

The article mentioned that the MXZ-8B48NA outdoor unit can connect with up to eight indoor units to provide eight individual zones of comfort.

Prototype A is an experiment in building a new American tract home with Tamarack Homes in Ridgefield, Washington.
SUWANEE, Ga. - July/August 2010 - The July/August issue of The Family Handyman featured the M-Series in the article "Hot Room? Six Ways to Cool it Off!". Do you have a room in your house that swelters all summer long? Most people immediately think of a window air conditioner. That can be a smart solution, but it does not work in every case, and it isn't the only option.
SUWANEE, Ga. - July 2010 - Environmental Building News featured a quote from Paul Doppel, director of government affairs at Mitsubishi Electric. In the article entitled, "New Standard Showcases Efficiency of VRF Multi-Splits," Doppel explains the challenges Mitsubishi Electric faced prior to the passing of the AHRI 1230 standard, "There were no standards in the system when we brought VRFs in 7 years ago. We had to show how to test with variable-speed compressors and multiple indoor units."
